Job Requirement & Responsibilities
- You must have a happy, energetic, outgoing personality
- Have a love for children, education, and events
- Quicker learner, ability to learn & retain program curriculum to deliver to Pre-K to 6th graders.
- Present, lead, engage, & facilitate themed educational sessions with crafts, games, experiments & demonstrations in an entertaining but educational way
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience, stamina, & ability to be on your feet for hours
- Communicate professionally with other employees, program staff, & children in programs
- Organized & able to follow direction in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation & insurance
- A professional appearance
- Timely arrival and an excellent work ethic
- Obtain a fingerprint clearance card
Suggested Experience
- Teachers, teacher aides, or those in childcare looking for seasonal work during Winter Break (12/19-1/6), Spring Break (3/6-3/24), After School, School Holidays & Summer (May 25 -August 4).
- College student studying science, engineering, teaching, event planning, recreation, hospitality, tourism, or business.
- You must love kids and have some experience with elementary age (4-12) children.
