Kol Yisrael
What? Looking to learn more about Israel and Israeli people, culture, food and music? Join ASU Hillel’s Kol Yisrael cohort– a 6-week interactive class led by Hannah Danzig and Vita Krivyakova. This is a great way to explore Israeli history through its food and culture, explore the unique aspects of Israeli art, geography, and culture through cooking Israeli food, unpacking Israeli music and social life, all while meeting new people!

When? This class begins on September 17th and will take place on Wednesdays @ 5:30 (6 weeks long)

Who? Any ASU Jewish undergraduate student who wants to learn about Israel in a fun and social way. No previous background necessary. Birthright alumni are encouraged to apply and invite your friends to join you!

Stipend: Any ASU Jewish undergraduate students who attend at least 4 out of 6 weeks are eligible to receive a $150 stipend. If you miss more than 2 sessions, you will not be eligible for a stipend.

First year leadership
What? Are you a first-year student wanting to find community? Join our First Year Leadership Cohort, an 8-week experience designed just for you! Together we’ll explore leadership skills, values, and strengths while connecting with peers and mentors who will support you throughout your ASU journey. Each week includes interactive workshops, engaging discussions, and meaningful takeaways you can apply right away in college and beyond. Dinner is also provided

When? This cohort begins on September 18th and will take place Thursdays (runs for 8 weeks)

Who? Any first year student looking to grow as a leader, build community, and make an impact!

​Dive into downtown
What? Are you a downtown student interested in exploring the downtown area? Dive into Downtown is an AMAZING opportunity to meet fellow downtown students, get to know DT Phoenix and even better… it’s all paid for! Dive into Downtown will be full of exciting experiences and opportunities made JUST FOR YOU! Dinner provided. This cohort will be led by our incredible downtown chairs, Joey Lurie and Tali Arnon.

When? This cohort begins on September 8th and will take place on Wednesdays @ 6 (for 6 weeks) 

Who? Preference will be given to downtown students! Whether you are in nursing, journalism, medical studies, etc. we would LOVE to have you join us for Dive into Downtown. Although, all other ASU students are welcome to sign up as well!

​JLF 1.0 - Big little cohort
Description:
Searching for fellow Jewish friends? Through classes that connect college life with Jewish tradition, fun social events, and the highly anticipated Big/Little reveal, this cohort will help you build community, grow as a leader, and feel at home at ASU.

Timing
This cohort begins on September 16th and takes place on Tuesdays @ 5:30. 

Who is this For?
  • First-year Jewish ASU undergraduates excited to start their journey
  • Returning Jewish students (sophomores and up!) who want to mentor first-years and join the class experience
  • The cohort will include 15 first-years + 15 upperclass mentors
